    I have bought and burned over 200 of these discs and I have never had a bad disc! Today the blank media market has been flooded with cheap discs that won't work after a few uses or even burn properly! However, this specific blank media is still high quality and won't fail.

This was my first experience with double layer media to burn, so while I have no reference points to follow, I must say that I have not had a bad record so far. I promise to update this review if things begin to change.

I have two versions of Nero (6 and on two very different computer, and I noticed that both automatically lower the burn rate to 4x (although I can pump up to 6X on Nero 6) and I wonder if the accounts of speed for the fact that "lesser" brands failing more often. I also hated one of the burners on my Sony laptop with Core 2 Duo Nero 8, and it works, despite being vastly slower with a Lite-On drive installed on my old desktop AMD64....
